WE've MoVed --but We're still easy to find JUst go to TWiTTiSTry.org

I believe God is calling for us to simplify our lives so we can spend quality time with him; I’m determined to do just that. Across the various social networks, blogs and face to face settings many who want more of Jesus are feeling the need to slow down, take a deep breath and tweek a few things to devote more time to strengthening their relationship with Jesus. I’m excited to announce that our Twittistry.org blog is being integrated with http://www.njstevenson.com/.  BUT you can still find us by going to http://www.twittistry.org/

I’m still working on my Twittistry writing project but maintianing two blogs was let's just say TwitterLOading me. SIMPLIFYING.... things a little.    See you at http://www.twittistry.org/

Did Jesus Just Say Blah, Blah, Blah?

This is not from the Twitter feed but I confess I’m guilty of entering the Blah Zone—my husband and I were talking and as I told him about family matters I came to a point in the conversation where I said “and blah blah”…he responded what, just two blahs? Two blahs is more than enough don’t you think? But I realized he was right, what happened to the third blah? Usually we hear blah, blah, blah.
Blah is pompous or pretentious talk or writing---a filler. It made me think of the Lord and how he never enters the blah zone. When we share something with him we’ll never hear him say “blah, blah, blah”. Don’t you just love that Jesus never enters the blah zone, I do.

If I had tweeted this one I would have said : So thankful Jesus doesn't go "blah, blah blah" when he presents my prayers to the Father...

UPDATE: I couldn't resist, I tried really I did. LOL. I tweeted this about this post
Aren't you glad Jesus doesn't present your prayer request to the Father in the form of blah, blah blah?

Not a Surface Level Looker

Tweet from @gapmin
Look beyond the surface and see more....much more!

It’s been a while since I have posted, but I’m back and excited about a camera club that kicks off on March 14 at http://ebbystouch.ning.com. Photography is something I find very exciting, something that stirs you to look beyond the surface and see more…much more! Doesn’t that remind of you Jesus? How he looks beyond our outward selves to see our hearts. There so much more beyond what we see on the surface. Just think about it. if a man-made piece of equipment called a camera can capture a moment that stirs us how much more can we be stirred by the what God wants to show us if only we’d look beyond the surface and see more. LOL, God has provided the ability to see but the SEEING is left to the individual. SEE BEYOND THE SURFACE.

You Write, I'll Run With It!

Tweet from @gapmin on Twitter
Letting God pen my 2010 agenda, it's just better that way! LOL

2010 came with a lot of excitement around the globe. WOW is all I can say. Every year people make plans, resolutions and to-do list, some things are accomplished and others are not. My 2010 approach to life is simple. I’m letting God pen my agenda. I’ve tried doing my own thing in the past and it just didn’t work. My long and short term goals got interrupted in a major way, revamped even and over the years I’ve learned to do that Proverbs 3:5-6 things and acknowledge him in ALL my ways—ALL took on a new meaning and started meaning A-L-L not some. Letting God do the writing and I'll do the running. It really is better that way!

Heart Held High

From @gapmin
While you're holding your head up make sure you let God hold your heart up...a head held high w a low heart aint no good now is it?

Depression and suicide are at an all time high and ranges from the young to the old. Just looking at someone’s smiling face and bubbly personality without discernment could cause us to miss what’s happening on the inside. We have mastered “the look” of being okay and having it all together but many are releasing silent screams. God hears silent screams even when man doesn’t. When you are hurting, feeling low, having the blues and just not the normal you because your spirit is feeling low but you keep holding your head up and have your “I’m okay’ face on don’t forget to let God hold your heart up!
